My pain level was off the charts yesterday and last night. All I could do was pray for sleep. Jesus knows our pain and suffering. He suffered for us so that we would have eternal life and I look forward to that day... my new home in heaven... my new pain-free body that will cry no more tears. "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5... Last night I prayed for Him to wrap me in His arms of tender mercies and lay me down to sleep. And I listened to this beautiful song allowing the words to penetrate my heart and mind. And praise my loving Savior... I fell into a deep, peaceful sleep while listening to it a second time. "But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me." Psalm 3:3-5
