@vumann40 "Alot of people put her down saying she didn't have a good voice." That just go to show how damaging it has been to take music programs from public schools. Today people wouldn't know real talent it it ran them over. It's scary to listen to what passes for music today.

@afrophonic Thank you for letting me know. I heard she finished a cd before her passing. I just read that Teena and Bobby Womack did a remake of With You I'm Born Again. It will be out next September. Still hurts when I hear her voice.. Alot of people put her down saying she didn't have a good voice. I swear people are tone deaf.. This song is one of the best cuts from Congo Square besides Marry Me!!

@vumann40 Yes truly a great loss! My personal greatest music loss as Teena for me was my favourite above all of them! I mean absolutely all of them, forever! She has a posthumous album scheduled for release early next year called 'Beautiful'. It was to be her swan song unbeknownst to all of us!

Damn, Damn, Damn!!! Why did Teena have to go so young. I don't care what people say about her. Not because I'm a big Teena fan but let's face it. Alot of artist can't even touch upon Teena's talent. I can't believe she is gone!! So underated it makes me sick. I always hungered for the next Teena Marie project. It hurts knowing we will never her an updated cd from this unique artist. Thank you Teena for everything you have shared and given us. You were truely blessed with a gift. RIP Lady T!!!
