Actually I wouldn't say that Jazz was dead It has always been this underground thing! There are more cool Coffee Houses/Jazz Clubs in every inner-city that any other forms of Music.... New Orleans was bread on Blues & JazzJazz just don't get nearly enough respect in terms of music (which i never understood) But, that's just my humble point of view
