I loved the look Taylor gave the judges after the performance! He knew he was winning. After the contrast between Funky White Boy, and tenderness of Something. Such a contrast. So glad he won and kept us happy for the past seven years. Those who kept following him.

This is the performance that changed me from a Daughtry fan to an inixplicable(sp) Taylor obsession. The vulnerably in his entire performance, esp. his eyes, and his voice and his very unique stage presence. One of my favorite songs, expected him to destroy it, but incredibly he made it even better.

It's just those mannerisms--at :38, the way he shakes his head like MAN, he just can't get her off of his mind...That's irresistible. Personally, I like the way he sings this better than the original.
