Find ya self a local shop... indie record shops are still about man. Alternately, from the labels/artists themselves. The likes of YNR and High Focus (two great UK Hip-Hop labels) have killer online stores where you can support the artist/label. Online stores as well, check out rarekindrecords. It's possible if you put a bit of effort in.

Then by the time I do make an album, I try and get it out, no one buys cd's so you get stuck trying to promote online but people are more interested in videos of cats dancing to Dubstep then an actually genuine artist/poet with a message. So you end up getting maybe 1,000 plays if your lucky while some guy falling on his nuts gets millions of hits. And you try to perform but the audience is a bunch of snotty hipsters in skinny jeans who wanna hear indie or electro pop and now they own everything

It's not just the UK, in NY were I live, none of these retards support independent music. Now they just diss the underground and they're way to dumb to understand this musical depth of a song like this. But there's us handfull of real ass artists out here. There's only one DJ that I know on the radio who plays real hip hop and gives people like myself play... I'm sure I could get him to play these records out here but it's not enough to guarantee will will still make records.
