Dude, Callas is leagues and bonds above Tarja. You need to focus on the fact that Tarja has shown us her vocal range with the aid of a microphone. Callas had her whole range supported, from top to bottom over large orchestras. Second of all, while Callas did start off as a mezzo, Tarja started out as a very dark soprano. She was no mezzo. And Callas didn't lose weight and went up to full-lyric. She was an Assoluta. Do you know what an assoluta is?
