Even if Disney does not render Moana in the style of Paperman, I read on some article that the film will still feature a "new, painterly style of CGI." Given that, I hope this will be something unique and not something generic like Frozen & Tangled, especially since it is being directed by veterans John Musker and Ron Clements. Maybe they have a different approach to CGI. What's the probability of this new style being truly unique as opposed to "generic"?
