IF all current music is now controlled by commercial entites...with ties to the "Illuminati"...and their formula is supposedly to espouse "POSITIVE NEW WORLD ORDER/Illuminati messages"...(I can only assume that their intent is to brainwash?)..then why is all current radio-popular music about hating your father and your family, anti-God, anti-marriage, my-heart-has-been-crushed-into-a-million-pieces-and-im-choking-on-my-own-blood-as-i-slit-my-wrists? Your theory makes absolutely no sense and carries no weight outside of conspiracy theory circles.

About 1990 music went TOTALLY COMMERCIALLY CONTROLLED. Some would argue with merit that the push was on to indoctrinate the public with POSITIVE NEW WORLD ORDER/illuminati messages. REGARDLESS, the music CARTEL was large & in charge and have controlled radio ever since. Its why WITHIN TEMPTATION, EPICA, NIGHTWISH, HAMMERFALL, and even US BANDS LIKE PARAMORE can not get airtime. These are NON CONTROLLED BANDS and thats what its about: CONTROL. We have to FIND music now. MOST OF US DO.

The problem with JOURNEY IS THE OCCULT. Herbie Herbert of SANTANA a notoriously occult band, brought in Schon FROM THERE and it has plagued them from the start. Occult is all curses and I dont know why anyone would insist on messing with that. 2012, Geddy Lee makes press announcement that HE IS AN OFFICIAL WICCAN. Within months the number of TICKET RETURNS were beyond count & that tour was to half empty venues. 2013 tour was a very abbreviated one for RUSH. The music is great, the other is crap.

Neal Schon "Thinks he is Journey" because Journey was intended to be formed around him. Also, it's hard to say a certain sound/period is Journey's "authentic" sound, because you will get different answers.

Yes. This is from their debut album "Tall Stories" that came out in 1991. At this point and time there were a lot of bands that still had that "80s" sound, but due to the Grunge movement, these groups didn't get a lot of exposure. It's a shame, there was a lot of great music made by great bands that just came along at the wrong time.

On top of that, he brought a really hip feel to Journey and suddenly they were a CURRENT, hip, cool & sexy band even in ways they hadnt gotten to before. Its like twilight zone how he and Perry were/are virtually identicle in life: age, experiences, careers, etc. FYI: I have a concert playlist coming really soon that has PERRY IN FULL CONCERT in the early 90s....you know AFTER IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY ALL OVER. You know Jeff Scott is still going. Hes with some 80s bands that'll suprise you.

Remember Debbie Davis and Witness well. Eddie Boyd was the drummer from the first self-titled Witness record, correct? Managed by Charlie Brusco, who's still going with Styx and The Outlaws, among others.

He is in a cover band in Norwalk CT.. Tangled Vine..I used to to be a guitar teque for the Drummers band years ago.. They were called Witness...at that time he was making his move in TS...Gimme those days anytime.. I miss all of that raw tone and melodic composition...

WOW, I already loved Augeri because of his amazing vocals on the Journey albums, but I had NO IDEA he was the voice behind this song! I loved this tune since the first time I had heard it back in '91, but I paid no attention to who sang this. He amazes me yet again! Does Augeri ever sing a bad song? I don't think so.

Holy shit.....THIS IS JOURNEY!!!!!!!!!! The way Journey is supposed to be. I knew when I saw the Mandalay Bay concert live on direct tv that this man had the soul of Steve Perry. Neil Schon is an awesome guitarist but has a terrible ego thing and thinks HE IS JOURNEY! He had issues with: Perry, Waite, Augeri and Soto. Arnel "pinhead" is a dark master brought forth to send us into a JOURNEY of terror! This band is AUTHENTIC Journey style & sound. ITS AWESOME! Lets support Augeri!
