Every time I've visited this local charity shop in the past few months, I've seen the CD sitting forlornly at the back of the shelf. I remember fleetingly thinking that the artwork looked pretty interesting. Twice, I considered buying it, and twice I resolved to find out what The Bluetones sounded like beforehand. At last, in the early hours of a Monday morning, here I am. And oh, what a sound.

Great song on very decent debut album as it goes. Shame they got lumped in with Britpop, just a question of timing as they weren't very Britpoppy, but pretty good at writing pop hits. Tho I preferred songs like this. Witty lyrics, and good live band too - unlike some of that vintage (I'm looking at you, Boo Radleys.)
