*Here's a throwback from 90s pop alternative that most people have likely forgotten.,*I was living in Chicago and saw this played on "Fox Thing in the Morning with Bob Sirrot and MaryAnne Murciano". They were just a Chicago morning show, but Bob thought he was David Letterman, so it was kinda goofy. During the summer, they'd have a musical guest every few weeks, and the guest would play throughout the show but they would put them outside the studios on the plaza at the NE corner of Michigan and Randolph (if memory serves) to play for the crowds walking to work. I was going to law school and probably late for my Contracts class. As I was frantically getting dressed in my apartment downtown, I had the tv on and caught Tal Bachman perform this song. It was in maybe May, 1996 as the song was debuting on the charts. I think seeing it that morning is the reason I remember it as well as I do.

wow the lyrics on this song are not your ordinary meaningless lyrics found in the majority of songs these days, but it is an honest expression, through music, of one mans thoughts when he fell in love with a girl and felt so powerless.
