I wish TABOO would (finally) come to LA! While it never got the respect it deserved on Broadway, West Coast fans have been waiting for TABOO for years! Or better yet: someone with funding: please produce an indie feature film musical version! The songs/soundtrack is AMAZING.

The new production is now on in Brixton London. Its gone back to its roots in a small club like setting but has incorporated a couple of songs added for the Broadway production. Went to see it the other day and it is amazing. Much more adult but the music and cast were amazing and Paul Baker who won an Olivier award ten years ago and Phillip Salon is back where he belongs. If you can go its on till Match.

This musical doesn't have really special effects, no imaginative story and yet it touches you so much. I'm from a little ghetto in Germany but still everybody knows this muscial (I'm 17) and it's my biggest wish to see it one time *-*

@belaqua1000 I agree! Nothing was better than Paul Baker's improv periods. "Smoke Salmon Fancies?" Raul was pretty great though too.

@belaqua1000 This IS Broadway and that is Raul Esparza. Come on In From The Outside was written for Broadway and performed only on Broadway, a year after Paul Baker's run in London was over.

I saw it in London and it was a bit different. The closing song was called "Pie in the Sky" which, for me at least, was a stronger song. I do like the message of this one though.

This was during previews. George didn't walk in during the song after we opened...his character was dead. But I agree the whole thing should have lived longer.

i went to see this twice at The Lowry in Manchester, it was amazing i was only stopped going to see the third time because of funds, i cant believe it did not become a big hit !
