This was just a look Marc experimented with , before letting his hair grow back out again , losing a considerable amount of weight , and , unfortunately , dying.....I always thought Marc was summoning the sex symbols of the Silent age - Valentino , Theda Bara , etc. , here. It's moreof a forerunner to Dave Vanian , whom Marc soon toured with and befriended , than emo. But , the music is what matters , and this is a great later T-Rex single ! All the right parts are in place - a stompin' rhythm riff , a screamin' slide guitar , and some nice keyboard embellishments , with Bolan giving it as much attitude as ever.
