Before you think "oh a 70's soul diva".....this woman was playing a Gibson Les Paul guitar and singing with Mickey & Sylvia in 1956 , ya know...around the same time Chuck Berry and Elvis (non-LP players) was hitting it 'big' with guitar rock, and Elvis sucked at guitar , she didn't!.... she maybe even better than Berry too.....Playing a Les Paul a whole DECADE before Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck made the "then" discontinued Les Paul a coveted guitar in the mid 60's until it got reissued by Gibson in 1968...Take that, Led Zeppelin, Cream and Yardbird fans!!...This woman was the "queen of modern music as we know it"......not just soul or hip-hop.
