I have a feeling songs like this were Andy's idea, maybe Andy wasthe demise of SWEET, they really went in a gay direction getting afro's and shit, rite when Metal came on the scene these guy's started playing songs like this and synth songs like 60's man. They were a huge influence on so many bands, they should have just "kept rockin!!"

I never knew Andy Scott did any lead vocals. I always thought it was Connolly. Surprisingly I never knew Connolly played guitar. What album is this off of?

THIS song not "California Nights" should have been released as the follow up to "Love Is Like Oxygen" and given the band another hit and the exposure they lost a bit when Brian left the band.

0:50 - Dave Murray of Iron Maiden (on bass, however? Joking.... This album was released the same year that Maiden recorded their demo tape that became the Soundhouse Tapes (1978, at Spaceward Studios in Cambridge, England).... Interesting .... The Maiden guys always did love prog ....Cheers

Shows how good rock and progressive instumentation can turn a relatively simple ( but sweet,er,Sweet) song into a masterpiece.Great slide/lead guitar, good bass ( and mixed so you can hear the damn thing)Mick Tuckers colorful drumming that's so much more than just timekeeping.+,+, that magical harpsichord ( right though the song, not just the end).

На мой взгляд,эта композиция - одна из САМЫХ лучших из всего творчества Sweet.И ещё...ЗАЧЕМ нужно было обрезать соло на клавесине? Оно должно звучать до конца,как на виниловом альбоме 1978 года.
