Wow, I know this is really lame but I wish that some-one really could have invented a time machine just so I could go back and meet the man while he was still alive. He was such a great vocalist and artist. Everything that he sang literally touched every-ones heart. Now I know how people felt when Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson died. They just don't make this type of musicians anymore or music. I miss it so much. That's why I appreciate people who take the time to post all these great songs. :)

Jimi Could have sung for anybody. Had he sang for someone like say...van halen, he would have made people not miss David Lee Roth as much. A true talent that will be missed by so many! Thanks jimi for making my 80's that much more special. God bless!

Hands down.... since Steve Perry left "Journey" they FUCKING SUCK.... bunch of commercial sellouts..... RIP Jimi. Survivor is escalations above and beyond the narcissistic fags.....i.e. ( Neal Schon and Johnaton Kane....)

I'm not really sure why the record label bailed on such a great record. People know "High On You" and the other Survivor catalog, but few people have heard this song. It has a hook a mile away and may be the most well crafted Survivor song ever. That guitar intro and the melody just chugs along like a train steaming down some well oiled tracks. RIP Jimi...

One of their most underrated songs. Love this one. Then again, almost all of them are good.

I am afraid I missed this song, because I was one of the few kids in 1988 who did not have MTV. I liked Survivor, and had a couple of 45 singles from "Vital Signs," but I never picked up "Too Hot to Sleep." This anthem's opening makes me think that Jack Blades and Tommy Shaw were listening, because "Coming of Age" by Damn Yankees opens the same way. But even though I like Jack and Tommy, there is no mistaking Jimi Jamison's great voice! RIP, Jamo!

One of the AWESOMEST songs by Survivor!!! R.I.P. Jimi Jamison, another classic rocker that died too soon.......

First video ever for Kyle Woodring, their drummer for a few years. He was 21 at the time and went on to play with John Mellencamp, George Michael, Deana Carter, Dennis Deyoung and many others. Kyle died five years before Jimi, almost to the day. It's great to see this video and re-live the moment it hit MTV in 1988.
