A song that is sadly missing now from SFA setlists. This was always a highlight for me. It used to close their set for a period pre-TMDGAF. In any event, this is a version from the TV coverage of Glastonbury in 1999. I was there! This was the year someone drove a van into the moshpit. Strange. Even for Glastonbury.
The live version contains the sample of Ken Nordine's 'Orange' track which was not on the album version, but which had been sampled by the Acid Casuals for an early track. Also, one of their early t-shirts had 'The One That Is Orangely Out Of His Head' lyric on the back.
Anyway, I digress. This version does not feature Daf on tipanis as some of their post-Radiator/Ice Hockey Hair gigs did, but is a fantastic version nevertheless.

The van was just a normal van full of idiots and I was one of those giving them a mouth full. Some big scary idiots mind and they weren't happy about their van getting trashed. Awesome set from an awesome band 9 years назад

My one and only year at Glastonbury and this and Hole's set will go down as two of the best I've ever seen! I was miles back and the crowd was huge and all going mental.I remember the van driving through the crowd and people climbing on top and jumping/ getting thrown off.Still don't know if it was an ambulance/ security or something, or just a drunk reveler.9 years назад

@ianfellows Good effort getting on the soundstage! I had fried my mind so thoroughly by the start of Orbital, that I loudly expressed my extreme disappointment that the gig had finished in the silence after the first song. If it hadn't been for the screaming Captain Caveman lookalike stood next to us I'd have been a laughing stock in that corner of the JazzWorld. .14 years назад

My mate was one of the lads that climbed on top of the van to dance, he smashed a girl in the face with his elbow when Wesley Snipes threw him off. She was screaming and her nose was all over her face, it was like a scene out of Hostel. Nasty but also piss funny at the same time.14 years назад

Freestylers in theafternoon, SFA, then Orbital on the Jazzworld stage. The best gigging day of my life. Also livened up considerably by some nutter in a transit tryng to drive from backstage right through the crowd.14 years назад
