I disagree! Although File Under Easy Listening (1994) is very estimable, it doesn't reach the perfection of Copper Blue (1992).

Except for Bob, Husker Du and Sugar were two pretty different bands. You could argue that each Sugar recording was quite different from each other. I saw them on the last tour, (Aragon Ballroom, Chicago). Even though there is some "pop" stuff on that album, Sugar live was a full out assault. It was like watching a really pissed off version of the Ramones. No talk in between songs, and Bob like a maniac all over the stage. Pretty powerful, and a darn good band. Wish they'd put out more.

I was lucky enough to find this CD at a Salvation Army thrift store, of all places. It's quickly become one of my favorites.
