Nothing against Mike Smith, but this dude was meant for this band. Despise the Sun is their best album in my opinion, and Mike Smith never played those songs with the same intensity. Obviously, it's hard for someone to play something they learned the same way as the guy who originally played it. But Culross rips on every song they have.

All throughout suffos history i was able to sit at lot of there practices especially later on like the despise the sun album I hung with cerrito when he was writing this song. No offense to doug or mike but dave was the best suffo drummer in my opinion
