Neo classical Metal is quite similar to power metal but usually contains A lot more classical influence (similar to symphonic metal.) Neo classical metal and power metal are often crossed over (neo classical power metal.) you may notice that even some death metal bands are crossed over with neo classical power metal (especially Scandinavian Melodic death metal bands.)

It may seem that way to you but you could basically say that about any piece of music. Think of it this way, the more complex the music is the MORE there is to write, it would of been A nightmare to write all of the riffs contained in this song and just imagine trying to write the drum pattern or the bass. It's not easy to write A song that contains this extreme form of vocals and for it to enjoyable for A large audience, just like it's hard to write jazz that will appeal to A large fanbase.

That's fine, you're obviously not understanding my point. I was pointing out 2 things, one there's nothing wrong with liking these other forms of music, if you truly enjoy them and I was trying to explain why A lot of traditional extreme metal fans don't enjoy bands like suicide silence or other deathcore, metalcore, nu metal, industrial metal ect ect so on so forth bands.

In an edit to my previous comment: I sincerely apologize for stating that there was no talent involved here. These men have obviously put in a lot of work to perfect this style. What I meant, however, is that I see no talent in the COMPOSITION of the piece. Bass hits every sixteenth, rapidly strummed guitar, sparse, cryptic vocals.......someone with very little musical talent could have written this song with adequate understanding of metal.

I'm not A fan of metalcore or deathcore but you couldn't be more wrong.... There are many sounds in metalcore and deathcore just as there are in ANY sub genre.

You don't think I go to metal concerts as well??? speed metal was around before thrash as I've said MULTIPLE TIMES NOW, without it there wouldn't be things like power metal or neo classical metal (which have few if any similarities to thrash metal.) Thrash metal only started developing in the 80s. It is true however that speed metal basically turned directly into thrash metal.

Hardcore Punk + Heavy Metal = Thrash Metal, Glam is Rock dude, not Metal, this was a confusion made by magazines, etc, as a dude who goes to Metal shows all the time, no one considers Glam, Nu Metal or Metalcore/Deathcore, as 'Metal', it's all poser garbage.

Motorhead, the creator's of speed metal, one of the first groups to add hardcore punk to regular heavy metal. Glam metal the least metal thing??? what about rap music, pop, country, pop rock ect. They may not be the HIGHLIGHTS or BEST metal genres (well that's A matter of perspective.) but they are in fact metal genres.
