Easily the 2nd best song on this album! This should be a better known Styx tune.

"Penny pitching on the walk ... watching for the cops to go by" ... those were the days when that's what the cops would stop you for. :-)

Always loved Chuck's bass playing in this one. Nice, clean guitar that you never hear in Rock anymore. CLASSIC.

The Who is my favorite band of all time. Even on his best days Pete couldn't play the guitar in this song. The only song The Who did that I can think of that sounds remotely similar to this is a live version of "Young Man Blues," which coincidently I was listening to a few songs before I came to this one. Pete had his own style, but this wasn't it.

Yeah they got real horrible real fast after Pieces of Eight. I love all their work up to that point.

"I can see Charlie on the porch, Johnny collecting his sticks. And 2 boys I don't even know rehearsing electric string tricks." Always loved that line, imagining them hanging around on city porches before they had even all met, let alone formed a band.

God why did Styx ever sell out to Pop, they were so goddamn awesome as a Prog band.

The vocal intro to this song was perfect, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa ho!' I love it!

I bought this album when Lady became a national hit back in '75. This was the song I played over and over because of the guitar break. The notes seemed to go impossibly high at the end of the solo, and again at the end of the song.

A lost classic from an awesome album! I grew up in Long Island in the 70's, but this song transported me to a mythical Chicago landscape. Unbelievable!
