I understand. I would only be careful to check everything by scripture. Every church and denomination has diverging beliefs about trivial as well as vital issues. It is better to seek out your own understanding within your relationship than to blindly accept what any speaker might say. I am happy that you have chosen to connect with God. I may see issues in Catholic doctrine, but I also see some of those issues in Protestant doctrine. Keep it real.
