I believe what Rocket was implying is that Street Dogs is the band that started his liking of punk music, not that Street Dogs actually started punk music.

well said.......iam an old British punk who first saw the Sex Pistols in 1977 and that gig changed my life.... Stumbled across Street dogs while trawling youtube as i didnt rate the modern american punk scene much apart from Social distortion and LF bastards....but i can really relate to this band glad i found them ;-)

I was gonna pull a tl;dr and yell at you for putting AFI in a punk setlist, but then I read the rest of your comment. I can tolerate Green Day's first few albums but AFI makes my skin crawl. It's like putting Slipknot in a lounge setlist or Pantera in a glam setlist passed off their first albums.

you sir are a true fan, what i would give to have been alive back then, i'm 24 and have seen many of the greats, social D, NOFX, AFI, Rancid, Dropkick, Time Agan, Street Dogs......they all put on a fantastic shows, and yea a few of the great ones, ie. Green day, afi, have sold out, they are still punk and i saw afi two years ago and still a fuckin awesome show, they don't play that new shit, they know we are not there to hear that garbage reading this brightened my day haha
