I can respect you not liking this band, but this is not the first video i've seen you comment on talking about how melody pissed Devin off. This clearly implies you are a troll and thus should be ignored, but i must indulge myself. The definition of melody, from the OED, is "a sequence of single notes that is musically satisfying; a tune". For many, myself included, that is exactly what these songs are. Just because you are not aurally satisfied does not mean that it does not have musical worth.

I think it's because he was making fun of things that Metal singers always say. For example, at the start when he says, "WE HAVE...A COUPLE MORE SONGS!" in a joking way, basically making fun of Metal vocalists. So he was just fucking around. THEN AGAIN, MAYBE HE WENT FULL RETARD FOR A SECOND! Either way, Devin fucking rules at everything he possibly does.
