You could just buy the album. Plenty of copies are available on Ebay or Amazon. Then you could upload....haha. Trust me the whole SYL discography is worth every penny. The only reason I even watch it on Youtube is because I am lazy to dig cds out of storage and it is interesting to see what other people have to say about them.

Well, cod metal was the kind of poser stuff in the 80s with bands that stuffed their crotches and looked like vikings for whatever weird reason. A lot of this album shows Dev's frustration with the Steve Vai circus.

Funny how some people love the "raw" sound of this album while Devin himself thinks it sounds like shit and totally unproduced and unpolished. I think his exact words were something like "it's just a remixed demo tape, I hate it". I mean, it does sound horrible production wise. Pretty cool that he doesn't try to justify its existence and continues to hate the album while other musicians would pretend to love it years later.

alot of people like pretty much all the songs on this album including me...i think it has a cool raw sound to it.

in a time where the bands name could id themselves as a heavy band or not, I was like "strapping young lad? wonder if they are anything like Fine Young Cannibals?" I was so pleasantly surprised to find some of the hardest stuff I've listened to until that point. See I was poor, and the internet didn't exist for everyone and I couldn't afford metal magazines so I had to randomly buy used tapes at the local music shop without knowing just what in the hell they were. Great time, such discoveries

This album is totally weird, and I like it for that. Otherwise it sounds like shit. Even Devin himself doesn't like this album except the first two songs lol. I wish he would sing like this on a new song though, just to see what it'd sound like.
