I've been a long time fan of Sting, ever since his Police days. Always loved how powerful and evocative his lyrics were... and unique in their poetry.
This particular song was written by him right after his father passed away, and it paints a sense of grief, loss and bewilderment that is... hard to describe.
I doubt I'm doing it justice, but... /shrugs. Wanted to give it a shot.
