Sting wasn't actually scheduled to sing at this gig. He had a sore throat and no band. But for the good of the cause, he picked up an axe and popped out this classic from his Police days. (For very YOUNG readers - he wasn't a COP - he was in a BAND called "The Police"!)

This actually took place 28-06-1986 (Artists Against Apartheid UK Freedom Festival) He is playing his 1979 black Stratocaster. He also played Roxanne that day. A compilation of this festival was released on the official video “Freedom Beat” Good Stuff!!12 years назад
