There's something I find really cool about male artists with an all-female backing band. Prince is another good example.

I think it's an ironic portrayal of the women, and a twist on the song: In the song, the handsome stranger seduces the princess and steals her jewels, but in the video, Sting, the illusory "stud with all the women", teases and seduces the men who think their moves are cool, into thinking that they can have all the women if they come in and hang out with him, but in reality they have nothing to offer the women except their lust. And the women are all an illusion anyway, because in reality Sting is a happily long-married monogamous man crazy in love with his wife. The message is to not get bogged down by illusion, disappointment or rejections, keep going and follow your true passions whether they are music, adventure, or romance, etc, and do it all with your own unique creativity, don't just be a horn dog just chasing tail forever, or you'll wake up one day and realize your life is empty. At least that's what I got out of it…. any other ideas?

Love the song, not the video. I really don't think of his music as "club" music, and I'm a little tired of all the videos out there taking place in a club. At least with techno is makes sense. Also, it seems that the older some musicians get the more they feel the need to show young people baring skin. Sting, you are the epitome of cool and you really don't need to do that. Just my two cents from someone who'd rather listen to your music than just about anyone.
