so much happening in this vid but i think i've gathered the basic story. that kid with all the tomogachi's is an alien hunter. maybe he doesn't hunt them to kill them maybe he hunts them to harness their power in some way? i assume they're using the tomogachis as a source of communication with the alien life force but this alien hunter uses them as a badge of pride to show how many aliens he's taken down. now it seems the people protecting the alien are some sort of small group that seek to make peace with alien life and learn from it. perhaps they're using the alien in some way i'm not really sure. its hooked up to all sorts of wires. maybe thats to keep it alive? according to the prologue this alien has been alive for a while. maybe its dying and they're trying to keep it alive or save it? either way it seems that in the end the alien hunter prevails and the alien is completely obliterated. the look in his eyes at the end kind of throws me off tho. is he feeling remorseful? idk
