*Bike Commuting Jukebox*Today's Bike Commuting Community jukebox selection is *Mac Girl,* sung to the tune of *That Girl* by Stevie Wonder and is dedicated to a very special and mysterious lady.There is an apartment lot I cut through on my ride home each evening, the better to avoid a one-way street in the wrong direction. About twice a month, sitting idly on the back deck of her apartment, I see a young lady, tap-tap-tapping away on a MacBook computer.I look up and smile, and she looks up and smiles, and I imagine her regarding me with the same strange familiarity I have for her: "Well, here comes Bike Commuter Guy, guess all is right in the world."I even imagine she has a theme song for me, same as I have have for her, something appropriate to the fleeting and technically nonexistent nature of our complex relationship, something like *Semi-Charmed Life* by Third Eye Blind, or perhaps Bonnie Tyler's *Total Eclipse of the Heart.*Mac Girl is but one of the cast of characters I see regularly on my bike commute, for each one I have fabricated a deep and convoluted backstory in which their ultimate happiness or survival or fulfillment somehow depends upon me. It is a burden I carry with a grim pride.I love riding my bike to work.
