If you check the liner notes, it's a woman named Ashley Cleveland. She does for this song what Merry Clayton did for "Gimme Shelter" IMHO. Completely adds another dimension.

Steve Taylor was one of those few people to come along and really shake things up. There has never been anyone quite like him. I think his lyrics are genius. Some people thought he was weird, but I just got it. I related to the music. He is singing again. Doing some stuff with Peter Furler he sang a creationfest this year. Awesome. :)
