The last stanza is so poorly transcribed in all internet sources I could find, I decided to do some more investigation. Approximately 100 percent of these lyrics are in fact borrowed from the "Dialogue between a Priest and a Dying Man" by the Marquis de Sade. It continues to be one of my favorite songs.
