Looks like Viscount De L'Isle was as little into elves as myself in 1974. But fun to see early 70s cutting edge TV coverage and a youthful Ms. Prior again.

I had this video in my head, today, as I went to partake of some ale in the self named "Elisabeth" wood. As I sat on a tree recently destroyed by the Winter storms, a juvenile Deer calmly walked by, looked at me, & just calmly walked away. No sign of any Elves, fortunately.

A band that never got the attention they deserved. She was just as good as Annie Haslam.

i now really regret not listening to this type of music when i was a teenager back in the 70's.

My bad I just get a bit fed up with the point being made. If it wasn't for prog I would not have discovered folk rock, folk, classical, jazz, world music etc So many wonderful sound worlds and beautiful moments have been opened up because of it. Although I may well have found lots of interesting musical pathways from punk, I am always grateful for the richness Prog has lead me too

I wasn't dissing prog. I couldn't, I'm a huge fan of King Crimson, Tull, and much of the stuff released between '68 and '77. All I was doing was pointing out that punk, at least in the UK, was in some ways a response to that, for want of a better word, elite scene. Prog was time, equipment, money intensive - Punk was D.I.Y. And that was something it shared with folk and trad - you could play music anywhere, anytime. I love prog.

Prog Rocks So what if it took a year to release an album. .

Thinking about it: you're onto something re: folk being the original 'punk'.......and it might've come full circle with Steam Punk AKA based on the Victorian era.

I love the Sex Pistols, but they cant touch these guys musically. Besides, what does folk music have to do with capitalism and fascism?

sorry, buddy, but Elves are cute and funny and sing quite sweetly in the twilight, but Sasquatches are hairy and ugly and can't keep a tune to save their furry little lives!
