She's on the Voice because Nashville eats up and spits people out. I live here and they broke up because of his substance abuse. His solo album came out recently, but it didn't do anything. It is so hard for newer artists to be successful and STAY successful. It's out of the artists hands. If radio doesn't play it, nobody knows it's out. For her to have had a record deal, sales. videos, etc. and then go back to a singing show is crazy. Nashville producers already know that she can sing, just cut a record. Unless you are Underwood, Chesney, Urban, Paisley, McGraw, etc. it's hard to make it and STAY making it. Jimmy Wayne played a "Dave and Busters" restaurant along with Bryan White here in Nashville making hardly nothing. These guys used to play STADIUMS! Even the people who have WON American Idol, there is no guarantee you will have success. Kelly Clarkson, C. Underwood, Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry. But it's just way too many artists fighting for playing time, and for radio to play them.
