Man this song brings a lot of memories to me. Dysfunction is my favorite staind album, I prefer dysfunction than tormented because tormented lacks hooks, yes, tormented is a really heavy, really heavy metal record with some guitar solos and Aaron voice is so angry and feels like he wants to kill somebody but where are the hooks? Also by the way, I always thought Home was one of the softer songs from dysfunction, this kind of post-grunge style would put staind adding more post-grunge influences into Break the cycle which is mostly a nu-metal record, I could compare Home to It's been awhile, Fade, or heck even Outside. Then, staind would erased their nu metal sound with 14 shades of grey and become a rock-post-grunge band. By the way people, I never thought staind was called nu-metal. They have no rapping, no hip-hop influences, and no death growling. But, they don't have solos and have a guitar based riff sound similar to a lot of nu metal bands that rap and have hip hop influences. Still loved staind though but I never thought they were nu-metal, if they are nu-metal, it's probably because of the guitar riffs based sound and no guitar solos. Dysfunction is easily their best work, I used to listen to this album 24/7 back in the day, everyday I used to come home from school, be on the couch or be at my bed and just blast this album out. It really get me the energy and calm my body down into something positive good. Those were the days.

yeeeeeuh the list goes on son. but the greats are limited.... staind tool incubus alice zep chevelle rage against the machine ...POD and limp bizkit are pretty damn good, but still if you have never listened to thornley/big wreck i suggest you do so... neil young, phil collins, so many greats. gobb, bush, too.
