I dedicate this one to the GE Orchestra.

St. Paul's Suite, Op. 29 No. 2, 4th movement - Finale (The Dargason): Allegro by Gustav Holst in 1912. Arranged on Mario Paint Composer by MerryMichaelmas using the Default Soundfont.

I started working this project about 6 weeks ago, but only during Thanksgiving break did I find the willpower to finish it. I may have exaggerated the dynamics a bit too much... please let me know what you think. I remember playing this piece in orchestra at a time that seems to be forever ago. Anyhow, I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

This was absolutely amazing! You should make the other movements too (or at least Jig).

Dude. That was like..EPIC. I have to play this Suite in orchestra as a freshman, and lemme tell ya, IT'S FREAKING HARD. But I love it cuz it sounds Irish. Which I'm guessing it is. You're beast.

@ElectricPopTart18 Ah yes, the Second Suite in F for Military Band was Op. 28 No. 2, but St. Paul's Suite (for strings) was Op. 29 No. 2. Wikipedia says "Second Suite in F for Military Band... Movement IV "Fantasia on the Dargason" ... Holst later rearranged and rescored this movement for string orchestra, as the final movement of his St Paul's Suite (1912), which he wrote for his music students at St Paul's Girls' School."

Great arrangement. I liked the crescendo at around the 2:00 minute mark. Thumbs Up

Omg I totally know this song 8-O I've played it multiple times in concert bands I've been in :-P Awesome job staying true to the dynamics man, it makes this a lot more authentic :-D I love that piccolo trill at the very end X-P I guess the suite goes by two names then? I know it as Second Suite in F :-P I gotta favorite this, my friend and I have good memories playing this song together X-D Great job!
