Lonnie Mack’s “Wham” is the first record SRV bought when he was a young kid. Not that many years later here is Stevie Ray on stage performing that tune with Lonnie Mack. Not too shabby for a boy from Dallas.

True legends! Mentor and protege, teacher and disciple, it doesn't get better than this! It's like Albert King and SRV, or Buddy Guy and Eric Clapton. Just beautiful guitar playing!

Normally when two powerhouse guitarists like this do a duo it gets messy quick. But not these guys...absolutely amazing in all senses. Two of my favorite guitarists of all time. Wow...

I was there when this was pilot of a failed TV show called The American Caravan was filmed. Fox Theater in Memphis, TN. I shared hosting duties with Lonnie Mack. The house band and I recorded Bodhisaatva by Steely Dan that weekend and, another guest on the show was the Marshall Chapman!! I will never forget it. I was in make-up with Stevie Ray. If TheManAmongMan has this entire tape, I would be very interested in getting a copy. Let me know, ok? Thanks, G. Valmont Thomas

This is just TOO great for words! Starts at a "full tilt" and then gets better from there...Wow!. I'm old, but I'm going the other way on the keyboard. Thats a "wide open" B-3 and I think it really adds to the performance...I think it is absolutely perfect...for my money almost a "lesson" on how to "back" a couple of guitars players. One man's opinion
