Dude, seriously, every day is a Green Day when you suit up with the Mike Dirnt Precision Bass®. It's a way-cool take on an early '50s Precision Bass, designed to the oft-airborne Green Day bassist's own specifications, with a huge, gnarly punk-pop sound that effortlessly punches right through the thickest guitar attack. This new version sports some subtle aesthetic changes. The special star graphic has moved to the neck plate and Mike chose some new pickguards to adorn his bass.

I like it but! That old design scratchplate or pickguard needs to be sorted out! Seriously guys at Fender!! If you fit a split coil pup, give us a new pickguard please that looks like it was made for this bass. It's not too much to ask is it? It stops me buying one because it's so annoying. see i wish that instead of releasing a new squier bass, fender would do some "adjusting" to the fender mike dirnt signature model. The Squier model of Mike's bass i heard was one of the best basses you could buy for the money, where as the Fender Dirnt bass i actually have played myself and i had quite a few gripes with it. It was way to heavy and the neck dive was just too much, and also the pickup didn't seem to be perfect for a Green Day sound...11 years назад
