On Sunday, November 23, 2008 - The first national touring cast of the 8x Tony Award winning Broadway smash Spring Awakening performed a special night of music, nostalgia, and charity entitled SPRING AWAKENING LOVES THE 90's to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at L.A.'s renowned Upright Cabaret at Mark's Restaurant in West Hollywood. Upright producers/Hosts Chris Isaacson and Shane Scheel welcomed KYLE RIABKO, BLAKE BASHOFF, CHASE DAVIDSON, ANTHONY LEE MEDINA, ANDY MIENTUS, BEN MOSS, PERRY SHERMAN, LUCAS WELLS and MATT SHINGLEDECKER with Music Director JARED STEIN and FREDDY HALL and MARQUES WALLS to the Upright Stage performing A Comet On Its Way (which was never recorded) from the original workshops of Spring Awakening.
