Love this song. I met Phil on two occasions. The last time was just a few years ago and I told him that I loved this song. He proceeded to play and sing it right in front of me on a classical guitar that I made. I sang the chorus with him! It was just wonderful. He told me he was going to send me a CD of Ph'lip Side. It never arrived :-( I haven't given up hope yet though. Nice man, and one of the best guitar players ever.10 years назад

One of my favorite songs. I remember how excited one day during devotions finding his inspiration for this song. Love his music and love his heart even more. So talented. If God played guitar, I believe it would sound like this. So amazing to me that I get misty eyed thinking about it as the years have passed knowing what this song has meant to me.11 years назад

It was 1980, my junior yr of high school. My school-hood boyfriend drove 10 miles out to my house at 9:30 at night to play me this song. He had just recorded it from the radio onto a small tape recorder. I was surprised to see him on my doorstep so late on a school night. My early-to-bed parents excused the intrusion because he was so excited about sharing this song with me, stating "you HAVE to hear this awesome song!" Ah memories... This is the first Christian Album I ever bought. I became a Cristian in June of 1981 and had to toss all my Rock albums out. Someone from my Church tuned me on to Phil Keaggy and many others like Harvest and Keith Green and I have been blessed ever since. Phil was and still is one of the top 5 Guitarists in the world and yet he has remained true to mainly producing Christian Music for almost 40 years.
