Basto's re-take of Gold manages to mix a more aggressive electronic sound with the ingredients of an energy anthem, all over an indestructible bass. It's a strong step up from his previous big room hits like the tantalizing Gregory's Theme, the addictive Again & Again, atmospheric Cloudbreaker (with Yves V) and gives a massive nod to his current Beatport chart topping monster, I Rave You.

As Basto himself says: "When I first decided to remix Gold by Spandau Ballet, I. hesitated for a moment. Usually, I'm very sceptical when it comes to reworking classics. Why would you wanna take the risk to ruin an epic record? But we managed to make it a very relevant dance track, without losing the gist of the original.
