Soundgarden

Ultramega Ok is one of my favorite albums, but the crappy production was enough to make me attempt to remix and remaster the song using Acoustica Mixcraft 5. I made it louder (but not overly so) and beefed up the guitars as best as i could. I'll upload most of the songs from this album, but i'll start with the ones i think worked out. Gimme feedback if you want to hear more.

Wow, everything's so much clearer and less smeary. The horrible reverb that totally wiped its arse all over the original is gone! That's definitely an improvement. IMO it's too loud though. Not terrible - it's not Rick Rubin loud or anything - but I reckon an extra 3-4dB of dynamic range would make it a bit more satisfying and punchy. I look forward to hearing the rest.

I could do that. I could upload the entire remastered album, actually :D I just gotta do some last minute check on the stuff to see which ones i'm satisfied with and which need some adjustments.
