The reason he played simple drum beats is because it was just simple 4/4 music on HTTK. Would back in black sound good with crazy double bass and fills everywhere? I don't think so. It's what's known as playing to suit the music. Lars Ulrich played simple 4/4 beats on the Black Album yet still killed every song on that tour because he played to suit the music, not to show off. If Avenged Sevenfold made an album like City of Evil again no doubt Arin's drumming would be just as great as the revs.10 years назад
