yeah, those bands had talent. granted. but they were also the bands that wanted to get famous in the first place. they toured the country exhaustively and sent their demos to hundreds of major labels and were lucky that one or two of those labels saw a diamond in the rough. it's not like you can get famous on talent alone. there's a lot of effort and luck that goes into being successful. yeah, these guys are totally lame, but i dig the beat, and it's just funny. haha ANYWAY fuck it

it's grunge, it didn't have to be really good. having said that, it fucking rules. i pissed myself when i first heard it. the fact that it's not 'worth anything' is kinda the point, hence 'LOSER' on the Sub Pop t-shirts. before nirvana, soundgarden and whomever else 'made it' and got egos and heroine problems, it was just something to do.
