Their finest lineup, fortunately captured in the BBC studios radio broadcasts on "The Peel Sessions" but never properly on an album. They would have made "Fourth" a stronger LP, I think.

This is the best era of the band……. The French had a great appreciation for this type of excellence in music….. Can you imagine seeing this on American TV? Never happened. I believe this is around the timeframe between their album "Volume Two", and their recording and release of "Third".
