Maybe Exodus, but I don't recall hearing Skates nor Blitz that Metallica inspired them, if anything, Mustaine would inspire Blitz as he said he was the best musician in Metallica. Anyways, Overkill was always inspired by punk bands, but mostly Heavy Metal like Priest, Maiden and above all, Twisted Sister

Venom was never considered metal, if anything, the first Thrash metal band was Overkill or Exodus. Metallica popularized thrash (not a bad thing though), but on one thing I truly agree... HAIL SODOM!
