I know The Smashing Pumpkins better than this video originally The Smashing Pumpkins were formed as band in 1988 with James Iha and Billy Corgan. Jimmy later joined the band The Smashing Pumpkins. Jimmy was playing in a band called the Skittles at a night club thats where Billy Corgan met Jimmy and asked him to join the band. Billy Corgan met Darcy on street and thats where he told her he had a band called The Smashing Pumpkins she told him she play bass. Also The Smashing Pumpkins were not just inspired by The Cure and The New Order the third band was Cheap Trick.
