I saw this tour back in December, 1991 in St. Louis. Pumpkins and Pearl Jam opened for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. This is when music was on some real shit.

Billy just gets better with age. I saw him at the Knitting Factory in Boise with his new band last year. One of the few times I saw the Factory packed to the rafters and Billy was beyond masterful. His new, very young drummer was up to the task of following Jimmy, believe it or not. I thought it was a better show than when I caught the Mellon Collie tour at the Rose Garden in Portland in January of 1997. They had the drummer from Filter filling in for Jimmie's jailed ass, but still....
