If you are a slipknot fan like i have been for YEARS I am 27 and have been a fan of theirs since i was about fifteen. Anyways if anyone has noticed their transformation throughout the years is because of the fact that corey taylor back when i was younger was a drunk etc hence the harder music and the party sound. Now years later he said he sobered and wanted to go back to their roots rediscover and reinvent. Now allot of old slipknot fans dont like that, but I on the other hand appreciate their music as a art and way of showing what they truly really feel. So therefore i find it very admirable because allot of heavy metal bands wouldnt dare take that step that slipknot has, slower songs. System of a down tried and it bushed. Didnt work....but for some odd reason it always will work for slipknot.
