exactly...preaching at people that their life is wrong is not going to make them turn their life around. They are living for a reason...they have their own purpose. it's no one's right to tell them what to do with the life they've been given. If anything, telling them that they're wrong or judging them (if they are weak and influential enough) could lead them to suicide, and that certainly isnt any better

very true...i've tried to get people to grasp that concept for years...but people are human, and it's human nature to judge....however condemning someone or a religion is completely within their control. They only show how ignorant they truly are within their own beliefs

I understand what you mean. I'm a Christian. But I'm not the typical "Sunday Christian". Christ saved me but I am willing to hear ALL words of wisdom. There are many great teachers. All of the religions preach the same message. Peace, love, charity and selflessness. The fact that people will demonize other religions ( as we Americans do with Islam) just shows ignorance for their fellow man. It's a shame religion has been institutionalized and people have used God as a means for war.

I think that would be Non-denominational. Wich is what I am. We dont think you NEED to go to church every sunday to worship. We believe that worship is worship, a prayer, offering, all that. doesnt matter how you worship, god still loves ya

@DPwatkykjy Interesting... I have a similar view of things... Only I do believe in God, I just disagree with organized religion. I think it's better to believe in your own way than to follow the ways that some learned man years ago decided that you should. That's exactly why fanatics exist (who in general defy their own religion in order to be 'better' believers...)
