That's why I'm agnostic. This God that the christians bow to isn't there. The god that the Hebrew worship? Not there. All the gods that have ever been are not gods. Maybe higher intelligence beings that we were too stupid to comprehend, but not gods. However, my point was that many people can't go on without some hope for the future. We may be logical and rational for seeing past what many are blind to, but all we see is a cold and unyielding darkness. Haunting and disturbing, to say the least.

lol, I'll give you the first part. I wrote what I wrote in a different time frame and my mind set has changed. That said, why should we venerate any all powerful being? Why would it want to be venerated by a bunch of ants unless it was malignant. If there were a god I'd say it needs to mind its own fucking business and let humans figure shit out themselves.
